Cambridgeshire-based Myriad Public Relations has regained its number one slot as the top agency in the east of England, according to newly published national leagues tables.
This news comes hot on the heels of two coveted industry awards for Myriad, whose clients include Durex, Scholl, Tiger Balm, 3M Healthcare, Vifor Pharma Potters and Cambridge University.
The PR rankings are produced by the industry’s own publication, PR Week, and have placed Myriad as number 23 in the top 50 agencies outside London. The agency last held this position in 2007.
Myriad was joint winner in the Best Marketing Campaign on a Big Budget in the OTC Marketing Awards 2009. The multi-faceted launch campaign featured Durex Play, the brand’s range of pleasure-enhancing products.
The agency shared this win with client SSL International, owners of the Durex brand, and advertising agency McCann Erickson, of Manchester.
In the same awards, Myriad was highly commended in the Best Public Relations Campaign for a Non-Medicine for its innovative on-line media campaign to support National Condom Week 2008, working with Halesway advertising and marketing of Andover.
Myriad managing director Steve Weaving commented: “I am delighted at the PR Week results, our continued rise up the league tables and news that we have excelled in another set of industry awards.
“This is a challenging time, where the client is looking not only for bright ideas, but has an ever-increasing focus on value for money. Our continued success is a tribute to the consistent good work of our high quality team here at Myriad.” |
