Technology business hands Myriad PR its corporate brief

16 June 2008
Diversified technology company 3M has awarded Myriad PR its UK and Ireland corporate PR account.

Myriad already looks after 3M’s regional PR, as well as a range of internal and external communications.

Central to the brief is to raise the profile of the company among the national media and consumers in general.

3M, well known for its Scotch-Brite, Scotchgard and Post-it brands, is a pioneer in developing and applying technologies in new and ground-breaking ways. The company’s products are used in numerous markets, including electronics and communications, healthcare, industrial and transportation, display and graphics, consumer and office, and safety, security and protection services.

John Klee, Corporate Communications Manager at 3M United Kingdom, said: "We’ve had a strong and successful working relationship with Myriad for some time, and know the agency to be a first-class operator in the field of corporate, consumer and healthcare PR.

"We feel it has the right mix of expertise and creativity to consistently place key brand and product messages in the national media."

Myriad PR Managing Director Steve Weaving said he was looking forward to building on an already successful partnership. "We’re delighted to be extending our work for 3M and look forward to enhancing further the reputation of one of the world’s most successful technology companies."
